What Were Your Children’s Dreams?

What were your big dreams when you were younger?

Thomas Pesquet’s big dream was to go to the moon. Today, as one of the Astronauts on the ISS – and the commanding officer for the last month of the 6-month mission – he is definitely on a course that may bring him to the moon before 2030 as NASA brings back men on our satellite.

Thomas Pesquet dreamed big when he was younger. But he also knew he needed more than luck or strong academic aptitude to achieve his big dream.

He focused on learning, staying curious, and making sure his big dream aligned with what resonated with him at the time (traveling far away from home, sciences, etc.)

Where are you NOW with your big dream?

What have you given up on?

What are obstacles that are holding you back?

How do you feel about not being on the path to your big dream?

Think about this for a moment, maybe with eyes closed. Imagine yourself achieving your big dream.

How does that make you feel now?

How does that resonate with who you are?

What is one thing you have changed to make it possible?

Now open your eyes. What will it take to take that step now?

Tell me what your big dream is and what next step you will take to make it happen. How could a coach support you in taking you there?
