Are you dragging feet when you need to have a difficult conversation with someone?
It happened to me in the past too.
I have addressed this by taking a new perspective at how to give feedback to someone.
Instead of using the model that is unfortunately still widely used of the “sandwich feedback”, I now use a much better model, one among many.
Using this new model, blame or judgment disappear, the focus is on the behavior, its impact and how it can be adjusted to produce desired outcomes.
